Rohingya & US Youth
Summer 2026

This summer, high school and young adults are joining forces to tutor Rohingya refugee children living in Malaysia. Over 100,000 Rohingya refugees have sought shelter in Malaysia after fleeing persecution in Myanmar. These children are among the most vulnerable—stateless, without official recognition, and lacking access to formal education or basic services. Many live in overcrowded settlements and face daily uncertainty about their future.
Despite these challenges, local communities and NGOs in Malaysia have established informal learning centers to serve Rohingya children and provide them with a chance at education. We are honored to partner with some of these schools to offer online English tutoring and bring hope through learning.
Join us in making a difference. One hour a day, four days a week
Dates: June 22 to July 16, 2026 (Monday to Thursday, 8-9PM or 9-10PM EST)
Volunteer today and help change a life—one child at a time.
